Professional confidence is not solely important. This is true for scientific journals as well as nonfiction and scientific books. A manuscript's scientific flaws are not exclusively responsible for its nonadmisson to the scientific journals. Often little things such as overly complicated illustrations lead to dismissal. On the other hand, the language of nonfiction and scientific books is frequently very scientific and missing some fine-tuning which leads to a lack of accessibility for the audience.
