During my scientific career I have written for peer-reviewed journals and given lectures at scientific conferences. Furthermore, I have supervised courses and excursions at the University of Giessen, Germany and have advised journalists on many scientific topics. As an editor of the life science journal BIOspektrum, I am always in touch with people from different professional backgrounds e. g. professors, junior researchers, company representatives, artists and lawyers.
